Sealing your Quarry Tiles

Sealing quarry tiles is one of the most important steps in installing a floor. Most installation experts recommend installing pre-sealed quarry tiles. If you’re taking on the project yourself, it's important to take your time and be careful.

Follow these basic steps in order to properly seal your floor and help it last for decades.

• Properly clean each tile
• Allow the cleaned tiles to dry overnight
• Using a quality paintbrush, apply sealant and let it soak in for five minutes
• Use a rag to wipe off excess sealant. Wait 30 minutes and apply second coat
• Wipe away excess sealant and allow drying at least three hours before installation
